Ian Barrie is the 2010 winner of the City of Port Coquitlam Volunteer Recognition Award for Environment Protection and Enhancement

Ian Barrie has volunteered more than 800 hours with the Hyde Creek Watershed Society since mid-2006. He works tirelessly enhancing and protecting the salmon stocks and the creek, including removing invasive plants and monitoring stocks, along with hatchery maintenance, public education, litter patrol, event organization, training and more.
